Trone’s goal is to design intelligent toilets able to adapt water flushed volume according to the needs defined by a measurement in the bowl.

It is composed of SIAMP Cedap, a Monegasque specialist of sanitary equipment, the LPMC-CNRS a French laboratory of the University of Nice dedicated to materials and surface properties, and VitrA a Turkish company, leader in ceramic manufacturing. They will be 2 other experts as subcontractors: the CSTB the French Technical Centre for Building and Indatech, a French SME expert in optics. Trone will perform tests benches and trials to validate the choice of material, sensors, evacuation... The final product should be a prototype of smart toilets allowing a major reduction of water consumption.
